• There are over 400 species of bacteria living in our digestive tracts. Most of these are 'friendly' bacteria which have a mutually beneficial relationship with us, their hosts. However, the gut is also home to some pathogenic (disease-causing) bacteria which, given the right conditions, can proliferate causing the delicate environment of the gut to be disrupted. The results can be digestive disturbances such as bloating, flatulence, constipation and diarrhoea.
• Friendly bacteria feed on fibre and in doing so produce various organic acids that can alter the acidity level of the intestines, therefore controlling the spread of pathogenic bacteria. They also manufacture certain vitamins and aid the digestion of our food, i.e. lactose in milk products.
• It is, therefore, very important to ensure that the balance of intestinal bacteria is in favour of the 'friendly' strains, which can be achieved by eating an appropriate diet (high fibre and low sugar) and supplementing with probiotics.

Take one Quest Acidophilus Plus capsule two to four times daily, with food.

We offer FREE Royal Mail Tracked delivery on all UK orders over £40.

Orders under £40 are charged £3.99 for Royal Mail Tracked delivery. There is no weight limit on UK deliveries.

Delivery is charged at £10 per kg and is calculated automatically at checkout.

Rest of the World

Delivery is charged at £15 per kg and is calculated automatically at checkout.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Brazil, Singapore, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain or the Republic of Ireland.

Please note that we cannot send liquids over 100ml outside the UK.

As international deliveries are handled by local postal and courier services, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your order has left the UK.

Dispatch Times

Orders placed before 12:00pm (midday), Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same working day.

While we always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, processing times may be slightly longer during particularly busy periods.

Returns

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us by email within 7 working days of receiving it. We will provide a returns label and, once the item has been received and inspected, we will either issue a refund to your original payment method or send a replacement.

If you have changed your mind or ordered the wrong product, please contact us by email within 7 working days. We will be happy to arrange a refund or exchange. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

We provide free returns only where we have made an error with your order or if your item has arrived damaged.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, all returned items must be unopened and in full resaleable condition.

All agreed returns must be received by us within 14 days of the return being authorised for a refund or exchange to be processed.
