The B-Complex vitamins are involved in the metabolism of all living cells.

B vitamins are essential nutrients required by the body. They help our bodies convert food into energy, allowing us to stay energised throughout the day, as well as supporting our mental performance.

Vitamin B Complex and Vitamin C work well together although they can also be taken separately.

Both B Vitamins and Vitamin C are water soluble so they are not stored in the body. It is therefore essential they are replaced daily.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant vitamin essential to the body's health and is especially important for maintaining healthy skin. It is also known as ascorbic acid.

Its primary function is to maintain collagen, a protein necessary for the formation of skin, ligaments, bones and teeth, and for the strength of blood vessel walls. In addition, Vitamin C plays an important part in the absorption of iron, which is necessary for the formation of red blood cells.

Vitamin C also plays a role in the utilisation of folic acid. However, it is essential for the production of adrenal hormones which explains its anti-stress association.
