Amisa makes organic gluten-free and spelt foods — breakfast cereals, crispbreads and baking goods. The range includes Organic Gluten Free Porridge and Organic Spelt Crunchy. Free UK delivery on orders over £40 from Quickvit.
Amisa makes organic foods across two areas that do not usually sit together: a gluten-free range, and a spelt range. Spelt is an ancient wheat and does contain gluten, so the two are separate and it is worth knowing which you are buying.
Everything is certified organic, with the gluten-free lines produced to the standards that labelling requires.
Beyond breakfast there are crispbreads, wraps and baking ingredients, again split between gluten-free and spelt versions.
We have sold organic and free-from foods since 1988 and keep both the gluten-free and spelt ranges rather than only one.
Free UK delivery on orders over £40, with orders placed before midday Monday to Friday aimed for same-day dispatch.

These are not interchangeable. The gluten-free lines are suitable for coeliacs and are labelled gluten free. Spelt is a wheat and contains gluten — it is not suitable for anyone avoiding gluten, even though it is sometimes assumed to be.
Spelt is chosen by people who simply prefer it or find it easier to digest than modern wheat, which is a different thing entirely from a gluten-free diet. Check the pack.
FAQ
Is spelt gluten free?
No. Spelt is a variety of wheat and contains gluten. It is not suitable for coeliacs or anyone on a gluten-free diet.
Which Amisa products are gluten free?
Only those labelled gluten free. The spelt range is not. The pack states this clearly.
Is everything organic?
Yes, the range is certified organic, shown on each pack.
Are the cereals suitable for vegans?
Many are, but some contain milk or honey. Check the individual pack.
How should I store them?
Cool, dry and sealed once opened. Each pack carries its own best-before date.
