What is cut comb honey?
A piece of honeycomb cut from the frame with the honey still in it. The wax is edible — chew it or spread it, whichever you prefer.
Why has my honey crystallised?
Natural in raw and lightly filtered honey, and it varies by floral source. Warm the jar gently in water to soften it.
Can babies have honey?
No. Honey should not be given to children under 12 months because of the risk of infant botulism. That applies to every honey.
Is agave nectar a like-for-like swap?
It is sweeter than honey and thinner, so use a little less. It is plant-based, which honey is not.
