Which body wash is gentlest?
The fragrance free options first, since fragrance is the usual cause of a reaction. Alana and Weleda are the gentler formulations of the three brands.
Why is Weleda more expensive?
Different formulation and a different position in the market. They have been making plant-based preparations since the 1920s and the products reflect it.
How much should I use?
Considerably less than most people do. A small amount on a cloth cleans as well and rinses off more easily.
Does body wash dry out skin?
Hot, long and frequent showers do more of that than the wash itself. Cooler and shorter, then moisturising while damp, makes the bigger difference.
