Cocoa Loco makes organic, fairtrade chocolate by hand in Sussex — bars, buttons and seasonal shapes. The range includes Organic Orange Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate lines. Free UK delivery on orders over £40 from Quickvit.
Cocoa Loco is a family business making chocolate by hand in Sussex, using organic and fairtrade ingredients. Being a few miles down the road from us is part of why we have stocked it for years.
Everything is made in small batches, which shows in the finish — these are not machine-perfect bars, and that is rather the appeal.
Alongside the bars sit buttons, slabs and seasonal shapes, which make straightforward gifts without needing wrapping.
We are a Sussex health store stocking a Sussex chocolate maker, and we keep more of the range than the couple of bars you might find elsewhere.
Free UK delivery on orders over £40, with orders placed before midday Monday to Friday aimed for same-day dispatch.
Expert, impartial advice on 01323 928523, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday.
Allergen information is on every wrapper. Milk appears across much of the range and some bars contain nuts or are made in a kitchen handling them — check before buying for anyone with an allergy.
Store cool, dry and away from strong smells. Handmade chocolate is more sensitive to warmth than mass-produced, so keep it out of a hot kitchen, though not in the fridge.
FAQ
Is Cocoa Loco organic and fairtrade?
Yes, both, shown on the wrapper.
Where is it made?
By hand in Sussex, in small batches.
Are there dairy-free bars?
The dark chocolate lines are the ones to look at. Check the individual wrapper, as recipes vary.
Do the bars contain nuts?
Some do, and others are made in a kitchen that handles nuts. Allergen information is on every wrapper.
How should I store it?
Cool, dry and away from strong-smelling foods. Not the fridge, which causes bloom and dulls the texture.
