What does the NHS advise about feeding babies?
The NHS recommends exclusive breastfeeding for around the first six months, with breastfeeding continuing alongside solid food afterwards. Infant formula is the only suitable alternative to breast milk in the first year. Speak to your midwife or health visitor about feeding your baby.
When should follow-on milk be introduced?
Follow-on milk is intended for babies from six months, alongside a mixed diet. It is not suitable for babies under six months. Your health visitor can advise on what is right for your child.
When can a baby start solid food?
NHS guidance is around six months. Starting cereals is usually the first step, moving on to purees and then textures. Check the age guidance on each pack.
Is the whole range organic?
The great majority is certified organic, and HiPP apply residue limits stricter than those the law requires for baby food. Certification is shown on each product page.
