Which plant milk is best for coffee?
A barista edition, and oat generally behaves best. The standard versions tend to split against hot espresso.
Do these need refrigerating?
Not until opened – they are ambient cartons. Once open, keep them in the fridge and use within the days stated.
Why has my carton separated?
That is normal for plant milk. Shake it before pouring.
Can I use oat cream instead of dairy cream?
In cooking, yes, and it behaves much like single cream. It will not whip like double cream.
