What pack sizes are available?
Mostly 250g and 500g, depending on the product. Both are listed separately where we stock them.
Do the dried fruits contain sulphites?
Some do — sulphur dioxide is commonly used to preserve colour in apricots in particular. It is declared on the label, so check the pack if you are avoiding sulphites.
Is the dried fruit organic?
Where a product is organic it says so on the pack and in the product title. Not all of the range is, so check the individual item.
How should I store nuts?
Cool, dry and sealed. Nuts contain oils that go rancid over time, so for anything you use slowly the freezer is a better bet than the cupboard.
Are these suitable for baking?
Yes — the raisins, sultanas, apricots and figs are the standard baking fruits, and the 500g sizes are the practical buy if you bake regularly.
