Organico specialises in organic Italian and Mediterranean foods, sourcing from small producers rather than large industrial suppliers. The result is store cupboard staples that taste noticeably better than the supermarket organic equivalent.
Everything is certified organic, and the ingredients lists are short — passata that is tomatoes, pasta that is durum wheat and water.
Pasta covers the usual shapes including penne, in both durum wheat and spelt versions.
Grissini bread sticks come in classic and spelt, and beyond those sit passata, tinned tomatoes, pulses, olive oils and antipasti — enough to build a meal without shopping elsewhere.
We have sold organic wholefoods and Mediterranean staples since 1988, and we keep the spelt and less common lines rather than just the basics.

Organic durum pasta cooks much like any good dried pasta — salt the water properly and follow the timing on the pack, testing a minute early. Spelt pasta cooks slightly faster and is easier to overdo.
Keep dried goods in a cool, dry cupboard. Once a jar or tin is opened, transfer any unused contents to a covered container in the fridge.
FAQ
Is everything organic?
Yes, the range is certified organic, with certification shown on each pack.
Do you stock spelt pasta?
Yes, alongside the durum wheat range. Spelt contains gluten, so it is not suitable for a gluten-free diet.
Is the pasta suitable for vegans?
The plain dried pastas generally are, being wheat and water. Filled and egg pastas are not. Check the individual pack.
Where is it made?
Organico sources from Italian and Mediterranean producers. The country of origin is stated on each pack.
How should I store opened passata?
In a covered container in the fridge, used within a couple of days. Do not store it in the opened tin or jar.
