Bread is where most people start. The Wholesome Seeded Loaf is a soft, everyday sliced loaf with sunflower and linseed, and there is a plain white version alongside it for sandwiches and toast.

Beyond bread, the biscuit and snack range is what keeps customers coming back — Digestive Biscuits and Custard Creams that hold up to a cup of tea, chocolate fingers, wafers, Jaffa cakes, salted crackers and grissini bread sticks. There are pizza bases and marble cake too, so a gluten-free diet does not have to mean going without a Friday night pizza.

Schär breads are supplied in sealed, ambient packaging rather than from the chiller, so they keep in the cupboard until opened — handy if you want a loaf in reserve. Once opened, reseal the bag and use within a few days, or freeze the slices and toast them from frozen.

Biscuits, crackers and wafers keep in a cool, dry cupboard. Always check the individual pack for its own best-before date and storage instructions, as these vary across the range.
