Is there added sugar?
No cane sugar is added — they are sweetened with concentrated fruit juice. They still contain naturally occurring fruit sugars.
Why is it called a fruit spread and not jam?
Because jam has a legal minimum sugar content which these do not meet. The name reflects the recipe.
Do they need refrigerating?
Yes, after opening, since there is no added sugar acting as a preservative. Use within the period on the jar.
Are they suitable for diabetics?
They contain fruit sugars and carbohydrate. Check the nutrition panel and speak to your diabetes team about fitting them into your diet.
Are they suitable for vegans?
