The Cherry Tree makes chutneys, sauces and preserves in small batches, with recognisable ingredients and no long additive lists.
The range is aimed squarely at the cheeseboard and the cold table — the things that make bread and cheese into a meal.
Chutneys cover the classics including tomato and fruit varieties, plus cheeseboard selections put together for exactly that purpose.
Alongside them sit sauces and condiments such as Carolina style sauces, and preserves for the breakfast table.
We have sold speciality preserves for years, and the gift-boxed selections are useful to have on the shelf when something is needed at short notice.
Free UK delivery on orders over £40, with orders placed before midday Monday to Friday aimed for same-day dispatch.

Chutney is better for a rest — most improve with a few weeks in the jar, so there is no hurry to open one. Serve at room temperature rather than straight from the fridge, which mutes the flavour.
Once opened, refrigerate and use within the period stated on the jar. Use a clean spoon each time, which makes a real difference to how long an open jar lasts.
FAQ
How long does an opened jar keep?
Refrigerate after opening and use within the period on the label. A clean spoon each time extends it considerably.
Are the products suitable for vegetarians?
Most are. Check the individual jar, as some sauces contain anchovy or other animal-derived ingredients.
Do they contain gluten?
It varies — some contain malt vinegar or wheat. Check the individual jar if you are avoiding gluten.
Are there gift options?
Yes, boxed cheeseboard selections, which is much of what the range is bought for.
Should chutney be served cold?
Room temperature is better. Straight from the fridge mutes the flavour.
