What does “raw” mean here?
The nuts have not been roasted, blanched or salted. Some, such as cashews, are steam-treated during shelling as standard practice — that is still sold as raw.
How should nuts be stored?
Cool, dark and sealed. In warm weather the fridge or freezer suits walnuts and pecans in particular, as their oils turn rancid faster than harder nuts.
Are they suitable for people with nut allergies?
No. These are nuts, and the range is packed on shared equipment, so cross-contact between types is possible. Check the allergen statement on each product page.
Can I bake with them?
Yes — raw unsalted nuts are what most recipes assume. Toast them briefly in a dry pan first if you want a deeper flavour.
