Is all of the Vintage Roots range organic?
Yes. Vintage Roots import certified organic wine only, and a good part of the range is biodynamic as well. The certifying body is listed on the individual product page.
What does “no added sulphites” mean?
Sulphites occur naturally in wine as a by-product of fermentation. Most producers add more as a preservative; wines labelled NSA have none added beyond what occurs naturally. They tend to be more delicate and are best drunk young.
Are the wines vegan?
Many are, and it is stated on the product page where confirmed. Wines are not automatically vegan, because some are fined with animal-derived agents before bottling.
Do you sell alcohol to under-18s?
No. It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18 in the UK, and we may ask for proof of age on delivery. By ordering you confirm you are 18 or over.
