Yogi makes spiced herbal and green teas built on ayurvedic blending traditions, with recipes that lean on warming spices rather than fruit flavourings. Familiar blends include Black Chai and Green Balance, supplied in 17-bag cartons. Free UK delivery on orders over £40 from Quickvit.
Yogi builds its teas around ayurvedic blending traditions, which in practice means layered spice rather than a single dominant note — cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove and black pepper turn up repeatedly across the range.
The blends are more assertive than most supermarket herbal teas, which is largely the point. Ingredients are listed in full on every carton, and much of the range is organic.
The chai family is the best known, from classic Black Chai through to sweeter and spicier variations. Green teas are blended rather than plain, and there is a Choco Tea for anyone who wants something closer to a treat.
Beyond those sit the herbal infusions, built around ginger, liquorice, fennel and similar botanicals. Most come as 17 tea bags per carton, each individually wrapped.
We have sold herbal and speciality teas since 1988 and keep a wide spread of the Yogi range rather than only the best sellers, so the less common blends are usually available.

Spiced and herbal blends generally want a longer steep than black tea — five to seven minutes with water just off the boil, covered if you can, so the aromatics stay in the cup rather than escaping as steam.
Most of the range is naturally caffeine free, though the black and green tea blends are not. The carton states this clearly. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, check the ingredients, as several herbal botanicals are not recommended in those circumstances.
FAQ
Is Yogi tea caffeine free?
The herbal blends are naturally caffeine free, but the black tea and green tea blends are not. Each carton states which it is.
How many tea bags are in a pack?
Most cartons contain 17 individually wrapped tea bags.
Is Yogi tea organic?
Much of the range is certified organic, shown on the carton. Check the individual product page for the blend you are buying.
How long should I brew it for?
Longer than ordinary tea — around five to seven minutes for the spiced and herbal blends. Covering the cup keeps the aromatics in.
Is Yogi tea suitable during pregnancy?
Some herbal botanicals are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Check the ingredients on the carton and speak to your midwife or GP if you are unsure.
