Neem oil, the key ingredient in Neem Insect Repellent, has none of the purported adverse effects of some conventional repellents. It does not stink (to humans - the pesky insects don't like its smell though) and sensitive skin doesn't react to it.
Neem oil works in two ways. Firstly, it masks the smell of your body so that biting insects can't find you easily. This is known as distance repellence. Secondly, Neem also changes the taste of the skin, deterring insects from biting. Ingredients: Alcohol (Ethanol), Octyldodecanol, Margosa extract (an extract of neem oil) Citrus aurantium bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) Oil. Directions: Apply to exposed areas every three hours, or more often if you are around water, or if you are one of those unfortunate people whose taste seems to be irresisitible to biting beasties. Avoid contact with eyes. Suitable for children over 2 years of age. Avoid when pregnant due to essential oils. For external use only
How Neem Oil Repellent Works

Unlike conventional chemical repellents, this neem-based formula is gentle on sensitive skin and suitable for children over 2 years of age. The 50ml size makes it perfect for travel and outdoor activities.
