A.Vogel Passiflora Complex is a traditional herbal tincture combining Passiflora (Passion Flower) with fresh young seeds of Avena sativa (Oats). This natural remedy has been used by naturopaths for over 100 years to support emotional wellbeing and relaxation.

  • A native of the Americas, Alfred Vogel saw this 'showy flower' in Mexico and Brazil, learning of its uses from the native people.
  • The plant was brought to Europe in the 17th Century as a garden adornment but naturopaths started to use it about 100 years ago.
  • Passiflora has traditionally been used as a remedy for uneasiness and mild low mood. It has no side effects or contraindications and can safely be taken long term.
  • When mixed with other sedative herbs, Passiflora's effects are strengthened. In this remedy it is combined with the fresh young seeds of Avena sativa (Oats) to create an incredibly useful tincture.

Natural Herbal Formula

This herbal tincture combines the calming properties of Passiflora with Avena sativa (Oats) to create a comprehensive natural remedy. The antispasmodic properties of Passiflora make this tincture suitable for both emotional and physical tension relief.

Contains the tinctures of fresh Passiflora incarnata* (Passiflora) aerial parts 70% and fresh Avena sativa* (Oats) 30%.
Alcohol content: 58% v/v.
*Organically grown

Adults: 20 drops twice daily, in a little water.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age twice daily in a little water.
Do not exceed stated recommended daily dose.
Avoid during pregnancy or if breastfeeding.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
