This premium Frankincense essential oil originates from East Africa, primarily sourcing high-quality Somalian resin with select Kenyan varieties. The oil derives from Olibanum, extracted from the bark of Boswellia species through careful incision techniques that prompt natural resin exudation. French distillation of top-quality resin ensures superior production control compared to source-distilled alternatives.

Aromatic Profile & Traditional Uses

Frankincense delivers a distinctive smoky, woody aroma recognized across diverse cultures as the most spiritual and prized of all essential oils. Traditional applications include prayer, meditation practices, and premium skincare formulations. For luxurious facial moisturizing, blend 2 drops of Frankincense with 1 drop of Rose (preferably Otto) in 10ml of Evening Primrose or Borage oil and apply sparingly.

Aromatherapy Applications

For mental clarity after demanding workdays, combine 2 drops of Frankincense with 2 drops of Bergamot in a burner or diffuser to quiet the mind. Alternatively, blend the same essential oil combination in one teaspoon of Peach Kernel oil and add to warm bath water for therapeutic relaxation.
