Absolute Aromas Pure Myrrh Essential Oil 10ml
This therapeutic grade Myrrh essential oil, like Frankincense, is distilled from natural resin. The oil is extremely viscous, making it more concentrated and potent than standard essential oils. Absolute Aromas includes a larger dropper specifically designed for this viscous consistency, though the oil may solidify over time due to its natural resin properties. Simply warm the oil gently in your hands before use and allow time for proper dispensing.
Traditional Aromatherapy Uses
Myrrh essential oil has acquired a reputation as a natural healer over the centuries and can be beneficial when used in aromatherapy inhalations to help ease winter respiratory discomfort. For steam inhalation, place 1 drop each of Myrrh, Benzoin and Lavender in a bowl of boiling water. Drape a towel across your head and shoulders and inhale the vapours for a few minutes.
Massage Oil Blend Recipe
Create a therapeutic foot massage oil by blending 1 drop of Myrrh, 2 drops of Geranium and 1 drop of Peppermint in 10ml of Coconut oil. This blend is ideal for massaging neglected feet and promoting circulation.
