Herb Pharm use white Panax ginseng root here, and say where it comes from, which is more than most ginseng products manage.

The extract is certified organic Asian ginseng white root, Panax ginseng, from China, at an extraction rate of 175mg of herb per 0.7ml and a herb to menstruum ratio of 1:4. The base is distilled water with organic cane alcohol at 28 to 38 percent.

White ginseng is the unprocessed root, simply peeled and dried. Red ginseng is the same plant steamed before drying, which changes its character. Products often say only "ginseng", so a label specifying which is useful.

Shake well, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to a small glass of water or juice, two or three times a day, between meals.

The alcohol content is lower than in Herb Pharm's ginger, though still present.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor first if you take prescribed medication.
