This is a capsule rather than a powder, which is the practical difference between it and most collagen products.

Each capsule supplies 450mg of marine collagen from fish, 50mg of hyaluronic acid and 50mg of vitamin C as ascorbic acid, in a vegetable cellulose shell. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.

The vitamin C is there for a reason rather than as a filler: it is required for the body's own collagen synthesis, which is why collagen products routinely include it.

Balanced's directions are one to two capsules with your last main meal of the day.

Be clear on the arithmetic before comparing prices: a collagen powder typically supplies several grams a scoop, so a 450mg capsule is a much smaller amount. The trade-off is that a capsule is easy to keep up and a powder often is not.
