A combination nutritional supplement containing zinc and vitamin C in lozenge form for sub-lingual, high bioavailability. Both zinc and vitamin C are essential for the normal functioning of the immune system. Zinc plays a key role in the normal development and function of cells involved in non-specific immunity, such as natural killer cells, as well in the production of antibody proteins. Similarly vitamin C promotes lymphocyte proliferation, as well as protecting immune cells from the potentially damaging effects of free radicals generated during the immune response. The Vitamin C in Bio-InfluZinc+C is derived from acerola berries, a type of fruit originating from the West Indies, and one of the richest sources of vitamin C.
