Biotin 12,000ug 365 Tablets

The biotin level here is very high, and there is something you should know before taking it.

Each tablet supplies 12,000 micrograms of biotin with 10mg of coconut oil powder. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin, and to normal macronutrient metabolism.

At 12,000 micrograms that is 24,000 percent of the reference intake. Biotin is water-soluble and the excess is excreted, so it is not stored to harmful levels. However, high-dose biotin is well documented to interfere with laboratory blood tests, including thyroid function and troponin, the marker used when assessing chest pain. Tell your doctor you take it before any blood test, and stop several days beforehand if advised.

Take one tablet daily with food and plenty of water. At 365 tablets that is a full year, which is unusual at this price.

Coconut oil powder is included at 10mg, a small amount, and is not the reason to buy this.
