Black Elderberry Alcohol-Free 30ml

Herb Pharm make this one without alcohol, which is the reason to choose it over a standard tincture.

The extract is black elderberry fruit, Sambucus nigra, from Bulgaria, Poland and Albania, certified organic and FAIRWILD certified. The extraction rate is 175mg of herb per 0.7ml, and the base is organic vegetable glycerine and distilled water rather than the cane alcohol Herb Pharm use elsewhere in the range.

FAIRWILD certification covers wild-harvested plants specifically, setting standards for how much can be taken from a wild population and what the harvesters are paid. It is a meaningful mark on a fruit that is largely gathered rather than farmed.

Shake well, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to a small glass of water or juice, two to four times a day, ideally between meals.

The glycerine base makes it naturally sweet, which suits anyone who dislikes the burn of an alcohol tincture.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.
