Dalgety Strong Cerassie/Corilla herbal infusion is a popular herbal tea made by infusing the dried leaves of the bitter melon plant, known as Cerassie in the Caribbean and Corilla in West Africa. The tea has a strong bitter taste and is often sweetened with honey or sugar. The Cerassie/Corilla leaves are known for their many health benefits, including aiding digestion, regulating blood sugar levels, and detoxifying the liver. It is also rich in antioxidants, which can help to protect the body from damage caused by free radicals and boost the immune system.

Natural dried cerassie/bitter melon leaves

Use one teabag per cup, pour freshly boiled water over it, and steep for 3-5 minutes, or longer for a stronger flavor. You can add honey, sugar, or lemon to taste. For a cold drink, steep in room temperature water for 2-3 minutes, add ice, and sweeteners if desired.
