Montmorency is a specific variety of sour cherry, not a general term for cherry, and it is the one this is made from.

Two capsules supply 870mg of pure freeze-dried Montmorency cherry powder, in a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule. There is nothing else in it, and it suits vegetarians and vegans.

Freeze-drying rather than heat-drying is the point of difference. It removes the water while leaving the fruit's structure intact, which is why freeze-dried fruit powders cost more than air-dried ones.

Active Edge's directions are one to two capsules a day, with or without food.

Sour cherries are considerably more tart than the dessert varieties, and the powder carries that through.

Most Montmorency cherry is sold as a concentrate you dilute, which we also stock in 473ml and 946ml bottles. Capsules are the option if you would rather not measure a liquid or carry a bottle, though the concentrate works out cheaper per serving.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.
