Co-Enzyme Q10 90 Tablets

Higher Nature's CoQ10 is a moderate-strength tablet, for people who want a maintenance amount rather than the very high doses sold elsewhere.

Each tablet supplies 30mg of co-enzyme Q10. Alongside it are lithothamnium calcareum, a marine-sourced mineral base, microcrystalline cellulose as a bulking agent, and stearic acid and magnesium stearate as anticaking agents, with a zein protein coating instead of a synthetic film.

Higher Nature's directions are one to three tablets a day with a meal, which gives a range from 30mg to 90mg depending on what you are after. CoQ10 is fat-soluble, so taking it with food that contains some fat is worth doing.

At one tablet a day this pot lasts three months. If you want a substantially higher amount in one go, Lamberts make a 200mg version, though at a different price.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. If you take prescribed medication, particularly warfarin, check with your doctor before starting CoQ10.
