The main use for cling film is to cover up food products, however, is also used to cover up fresh tattoos, paintbrushes and more. Our cling film alternative is 100% certified compostable, meaning it will degrade within 6 months versus the hundreds of years it takes for the plastic in cling film. Cling film also ends up in our seas, eventually degrading to microplastics that appear in our seafood. Our eco alternative is made from 97% PBAT and 3% PLA. These are completely natural plant-based materials, meaning you can feel safe knowing you are not wrapping your food with chemicals from plastic.
