UMF 10+ Manuka Honey 250g

UMF 10+ is the middle of Comvita's range, and for most people it is the sensible place to buy rather than the entry or the premium grade.

The Unique Manuka Factor system grades honey against several naturally occurring markers, and the result is independently audited by the UMF Honey Association rather than declared by the producer. A jar carrying the UMF mark and a licence number can be checked, which is not true of every scale on the shelf.

Manuka honey is the only ingredient.

At UMF 10+ the flavour is properly manuka, with the characteristic earthy, slightly bitter edge, but without the intensity that makes the higher grades an acquired taste. It works on toast, stirred into tea, or off the spoon.

We list Comvita UMF 5+ in both 250g and 500g, this UMF 10+ in the same two sizes, and UMF 15+ in 250g.

Not suitable for infants under twelve months. Honey is high in natural sugars.

For Consumption

Straight from the jar: Enjoy 1–2 tablespoons daily to support your immune system or as a natural energy boost.

In drinks: Stir into tea, warm milk, or water. Add a squeeze of lemon for an extra hit of vitamin C.

As a sweetener: Naturally sweeten smoothies, cereal, yogurt, or desserts.

With breakfast foods: Spread on whole-grain toast or drizzle over pancakes, granola, or muesli.

For Skin and Hair

Facial mask: Apply a thin layer to hydrate and nourish your skin.

Minor wounds and burns: Dab directly onto the affected area to help prevent infection and encourage healing.

Hair treatment: Blend with coconut oil, apply to damp or dry hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo.

Other Uses
