UMF 15+ Manuka Honey 250g

Comvita are one of the oldest manuka producers in New Zealand, and this is their higher-grade jar.

UMF 15+ refers to the Unique Manuka Factor grading system, an independently audited standard that tests each batch against several natural markers and certifies the result. The number is checked by the UMF Honey Association rather than self-declared by the producer, which is the main practical difference between UMF and the various in-house scales other brands use.

Nothing is added: the jar contains manuka honey and nothing else.

Take it straight from the jar, or stir it into tea, warm milk or water. At UMF 15+ the flavour is noticeably deeper and more resinous than the entry grades, so a smaller amount goes further. We stock UMF 5+ and 10+ in the same range if you want somewhere gentler to start, and the 5+ is considerably cheaper per jar.

Not suitable for infants under twelve months. Honey is high in natural sugars.

For Consumption

Straight from the jar: Enjoy 1–2 tablespoons daily to support your immune system or as a natural energy boost.

In drinks: Stir into tea, warm milk, or water. Add a squeeze of lemon for an extra hit of vitamin C.

As a sweetener: Naturally sweeten smoothies, cereal, yogurt, or desserts.

With breakfast foods: Spread on whole-grain toast or drizzle over pancakes, granola, or muesli.

For Skin and Hair

Facial mask: Apply a thin layer to hydrate and nourish your skin.

Minor wounds and burns: Dab directly onto the affected area to help prevent infection and encourage healing.

Hair treatment: Blend with coconut oil, apply to damp or dry hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo.

Other Uses

Cough and sore throat: A spoonful can help soothe irritation and ease coughing.

Digestive health: Its natural properties may calm acid reflux and heartburn.

Oral care: Known to reduce plaque and support gum health thanks to its antibacterial effects.
