This is plain organic saw palmetto in a vegetarian capsule, with nothing else in the formula.

The berries, from Serenoa repens, are grown in the USA, where the plant is native to the south-eastern states. The capsule shell is hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, so it suits vegetarians, which is not true of the softgel format most saw palmetto is sold in.

That format point is the practical distinction here. Saw palmetto is usually supplied as an oil extract in a gelatin softgel; a dry capsule of organic berry material is a different product, and the two are not directly comparable by weight.

Fushi's directions are two capsules daily with food and water, or as advised by a medical herbalist.

At two a day this pack covers a month.
