Herb Pharm pick ginkgo leaves while they are still green, and that timing is the point of difference.

The extract is certified organic ginkgo leaf, Ginkgo biloba, from the USA and China, at an extraction rate of 140mg of herb per 0.7ml. The base is organic cane alcohol at 57 to 67 percent with distilled water.

Ginkgo leaves are commonly harvested after they yellow in autumn, when they are easier to collect. Herb Pharm take them green, before the plant withdraws its resources, and mill them immediately before extraction rather than storing the milled material.

Shake the bottle, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to a small glass of water or juice, two to five times a day, ideally between meals.

At 30ml a bottle does not last long at the upper end of that range, which is worth factoring in.

Ginkgo is not recommended alongside anticoagulant medication, and should be stopped before surgery. Speak to your doctor first if either applies. Not suitable during pregnancy.
