This is a straightforward two-ingredient joint tablet, without the extras that push the price up elsewhere.

Each tablet supplies 500mg of glucosamine sulphate 2KCl, a product of crustaceans, with 400mg of chondroitin sulphate, a product of fish. Both are structural components of cartilage, which is why they are so often sold together.

Natures Aid's directions are one to three tablets a day with food, so the pack lasts between a month and three depending on where you settle.

Being clear about the sourcing matters here: the glucosamine is shellfish-derived and the chondroitin comes from fish, so this is unsuitable for anyone with a shellfish or fish allergy, and for vegetarians. Quest make a vegan glucosamine if that applies to you.

The tablet coating contains soya lecithin.

At 500mg and 400mg this is a moderate strength. Natures Aid make a high strength version, and combinations adding MSM, if you want more per tablet.

Contains crustaceans, fish and soya. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.

Take 1-3 tablets per day with food.
