Baobab is one of the few fruits sold as a powder without being dried first: the pulp dehydrates naturally inside the pod on the tree, so it is simply removed and milled.

The only ingredient is organic baobab powder. It is naturally high in fibre, and has a sharp citrus taste closer to sherbet than to a green superfood powder, which makes it easier to drink than most.

Golden Greens suggest 5g to 15g daily, one to three teaspoons, mixed into water, juice or a smoothie.

Because the fruit dries on the tree, baobab powder is a raw food in the literal sense: nothing is heated at any stage.

The 200g tub is the size to buy once you know you like it. We also stock 100g, and Aduna make an 80g and a larger organic tub if you want to compare.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.

Dispatch times

Orders placed before 12:00pm (midday), Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day. During busy periods, processing may take a little longer.
