Chlorella tablets are taken by the handful rather than one at a time, which is why pack size matters more here than with most supplements.

These are organic chlorella with a broken cell wall, and nothing else in them. Chlorella's cell wall is indigestible, so it has to be broken mechanically before the contents are available; an unbroken chlorella tablet is largely wasted.

Golden Greens' directions are eight to ten tablets daily. At that rate this pack lasts around six or seven weeks.

We also stock this chlorella in a 250 tablet pot, and as a loose powder in 100g and 200g, which is cheaper per gram if you would rather add it to a smoothie than swallow tablets. Viridian offer it in a measured-dose format if you would rather not count tablets.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. Chlorella is a rich source of vitamin K, so speak to your doctor first if you take anticoagulant medication.
