Citricidal is a grapefruit extract in liquid form, and this 100ml bottle is the largest of the three sizes Higher Nature make.

Ten drops provide the equivalent of 462mg of grapefruit. The extract makes up nineteen percent of the liquid and is made from the seed and the whole fruit, suspended in vegetable glycerine with lactic acid as an acidity regulator and dextrose.

Higher Nature's directions are five to ten drops diluted in 100ml of water or juice, stirred thoroughly, taken at least thirty minutes before or two hours after meals, one to three times a day. Children over eight take half the adult amount.

It is extremely bitter undiluted, so the dilution instruction is not optional.

We also list Citricidal in 25ml, and a 45ml grapefruit seed extract alongside it. The 100ml works out considerably cheaper per drop than the smaller bottles.

Do not take during pregnancy without advice. Keep out of the reach of children.

Adults dilute 5-10 drops in 100ml of water or juice, stir thoroughly. Consume at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals, 1-3 times a day (children over 8 years, half dose) or as your healthcare professional advises.
