Serotone 50mg 90 Capsules

This is the gentler of the two Serotone strengths, and the sensible one to begin with.

Each capsule supplies 50mg of 5-HTP from standardised griffonia simplicifolia seed extract, together with 15mg of niacin, 5mg of vitamin B6, 50 micrograms of folic acid, 25 micrograms of biotin and 2.5mg of zinc. Niacin, vitamin B6 and folate all contribute to normal psychological function, and vitamin B6 also contributes to normal cysteine synthesis.

Higher Nature's directions are one to two capsules a day, taken before bed with a carbohydrate snack. The carbohydrate is part of the instruction rather than a suggestion.

The bulking agent is rice bran and the capsule is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

The 100mg version is available in 90 and 30 capsule packs if this strength suits you and you want to move up.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not take alongside prescribed antidepressant medication without speaking to your doctor.

Adults take 1-2 capsules a day, ideally before bed with a carbohydrate snack. Do not exceed recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
