Homocysteine Nutrients 180 Capsules

Higher Nature put together this combination for people who have had their homocysteine measured and want the nutrients involved in its metabolism in a single capsule, rather than buying B vitamins separately.

Two capsules supply 400 micrograms of folic acid, 500 micrograms of vitamin B12, 50mg of vitamin B6, 15mg of riboflavin, 10mg of zinc and 750mg of trimethylglycine. Folate, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 each contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism, and riboflavin contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

The B6 comes as a mix of pyridoxine hydrochloride and pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the already-active form, which not every B complex includes.

Higher Nature's directions are two to four capsules a day with a meal for twelve weeks, then one to two a day afterwards. At the maintenance dose the 180-capsule pack lasts around three months.

Betaine anhydrous, capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, anti-caking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), zinc citrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), riboflavin (vitamin B2), anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), pteroylmonoglutamic acid (folic acid).

Adults take 2-4 capsules a day with a meal for 12 weeks, then maintain at 1-2 capsules a day.
