Silicea Gastro 500ml

This is the largest bottle of Hubner's Silicea Gastro gel, and the most economical if you take it regularly.

Each 100ml of gel contains 100ml of silica gel, silicic acid gel, providing 3.5g of silicon dioxide. That is the entire composition.

Silicic acid gel is not a powder suspended in water. It is a colloidal gel, and the texture is quite unlike any tablet or capsule, which is worth knowing before your first spoonful.

Hubner's directions are one measured spoonful, 15ml, in water or tea, three times a day, on an empty stomach or between meals.

At 45ml a day this bottle lasts around eleven days, so the 500ml is the practical size rather than a luxury.

Shake before use and follow the storage instructions on the bottle.

Hubner also make Silicea in smaller bottles and in a gel for external use, so check you are buying the one you want.

Take it separately from other medicines rather than at the same time.
