Organic Ground Almonds are milled to a fine, flour-like texture, making them a staple gluten-free baking ingredient for frangipane, macarons, Bakewell tart and other classic almond-based bakes. Their natural oils give baked goods a moist, dense crumb that's hard to replicate with wheat flour alone, and they can also be used to thicken sauces or coat fish and chicken for a nutty, gluten-free crust. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, they're a versatile store-cupboard staple for coeliac-friendly and grain-free baking. Because they contain natural oils, they can turn rancid faster than plain flour, so store in a cool, dark place or the fridge and use within a few months of opening.
