Brown lentils hold their shape better than red lentils during cooking, making this bag ideal for hearty stews, dhal, salads and shepherd's-pie-style bakes. They're a naturally good source of plant protein and fibre, and unlike dried beans, brown lentils don't need soaking — just rinse and simmer until tender, usually in around 20-25 minutes. Certified organic, vegan, gluten-free and free from added sugar, they're an easy everyday staple for plant-based, dairy-free or wheat-free cooking. Store in an airtight container in a cool cupboard, where they'll keep well for many months.
