Organic Buckwheat Flour is milled from buckwheat, which despite the name isn't related to wheat at all — it's naturally gluten-free, with an earthy, slightly nutty flavour that's the traditional base for French galettes and Japanese soba noodles. It's also popular in pancakes and blinis, where its distinctive flavour and darker colour set it apart from a plain wheat batter. Because it lacks gluten, it's often blended with other gluten-free flours or a binding agent for structured bakes like bread, but works beautifully on its own in pancakes and flatbreads. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it's a genuine store-cupboard staple for gluten-free cooking. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
