It has a nutrient profile similar to spirulina, with a strong, distinctly "green" flavour that's best introduced gradually into smoothies, juices or water, starting with a small amount and building up as your palate adjusts. It's also used in homemade energy balls and raw treats where a small amount adds colour and flavour without overwhelming the other ingredients.
