Organic Coconut Flour is milled from dried, defatted coconut flesh, giving a naturally gluten-free flour with a subtly sweet coconut flavour and a notably high fibre content compared with most other flours. It behaves quite differently to wheat flour in baking — it absorbs far more liquid, so recipes usually need extra eggs or liquid and can't simply swap coconut flour in a one-to-one ratio. It works well in low-carb and grain-free baking, pancakes and thickening smoothies. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it's a popular choice for paleo and grain-free diets. Packed in plastic-free packaging, it's best used in recipes specifically developed for coconut flour rather than substituted directly for wheat flour. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
