Organic Corn Starch is a fine, naturally gluten-free thickener made from corn, essential for smooth sauces, gravies, custards and glazes without lumps. Mix it with a little cold water to make a slurry before adding to hot liquid, which helps it thicken evenly without clumping. It's also a useful ingredient in gluten-free baking, often blended with other flours to lighten the texture of cakes and biscuits, and can be dusted over fruit before baking to help thicken any released juices. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, packed in plastic-free packaging, it's a genuinely versatile store-cupboard essential. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, well away from moisture.
