Organic Durum Wheat Semolina is coarsely ground from hard durum wheat, giving it the firm, slightly gritty texture that's essential for making fresh homemade pasta and gnocchi that holds its shape well when cooked. It's also the traditional base for semolina pudding, and can be used to dust bread and pizza dough before baking to prevent sticking and add a pleasant crunch to the crust. As it's made from wheat, it does contain gluten, so it isn't suitable for a gluten-free diet. Certified organic and vegan, with no added sugar, it's a genuine store-cupboard essential for anyone making pasta from scratch. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for many months.
