Organic Golden Berries, also known as physalis or Cape gooseberries, are small dried berries with a distinctive tangy-sweet flavour, somewhere between a pineapple and a tomatillo. They make an interesting change from more familiar dried fruit, working well in trail mix, granola and baking, or simply eaten as a chewy, tart snack on their own. Their bright flavour also pairs nicely with dark chocolate or nuts in a homemade snack mix. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, they suit most plant-based and refined-sugar-free diets. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, where they'll keep well for several months.
