Just Natural Organic Yellow Split Lentils are packed in plastic-free, certified home-compostable packaging, giving this everyday pulse a lower-waste footprint from field to cupboard. They cook down to a soft, mellow-flavoured mash similar to red split lentils, making them a good base for dhal, soups and stews, or as a thickener for curries. There's no need to soak them — just rinse and simmer until tender, usually around 15-20 minutes. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, they're a simple, affordable way to add plant protein and fibre to a meat-free meal. Once cooked, they keep well in the fridge for a few days and freeze in portions just as easily. Store the dried lentils in an airtight container in a cool, dry cupboard.
