Organic Long Grain Brown Rice is a wholegrain rice with the bran layer left intact, giving it a nuttier flavour, firmer bite and more fibre than white long grain rice. It's a versatile everyday side for curries, stews and stir-fries, and its sturdier texture also makes it a good base for grain salads and stuffed vegetables. Because it's a wholegrain, it takes a little longer to cook than white rice — usually 25-35 minutes after rinsing — so allow extra time or use a rice cooker for consistent results. Certified organic and vegan, with no added sugar, it's a straightforward way to add more fibre to meals without changing how you cook. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for many months.
